"Communion with Christ, Creating Community, and Caring for Creation"
"We envision our community as people who love God, serve their neighbours, and steward the gifts of creation."
For 100 years, St. George's has been a beacon of hope and faith in Espanola. As part of the Anglican Church of Canada in the Diocese of Algoma, we offer a safe place with a mainstream Christian perspective where individuals can explore their faith and discover their spiritual path.
St. George's has a vibrant history of children and family ministry. We offer a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn about God's love through:
All our volunteers are screened through our Screening in Faith program to ensure a safe environment for all children.
Priest
Reverend Beverly was licensed as a lay pastor at St. George's in January 2016 and was ordained as a Priest on June 1, 2019, by Archbishop Anne Germond. She brings a heart for pastoral care, community engagement, and spiritual growth.
"Our soul purpose is to meet for worship every Sunday. The result is love and fellowship, which just comes with belonging to the family of an awesome God. Our doors are always open; please feel free to join us. Love abounds here, first from the Lord, then us often over a good meal."
